Your tasks

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will develop, in close cooperation with the customers, systems for the research and production of optoelectronic components. Our customers are technology leaders in the development of these components and are drivers of progress. You will support customers from the initial concept through feasibility studies and prototype production to automated volume-production.

For this you will not only need your technical expertise, but also enthusiasm, creativity and a pragmatic approach to resolve tasks step by step and present customized solutions.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally with a focus on high-precision optical and/or
    electronic instruments and systems.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and automation technology.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent customer orientation.
  • Outgoing and open-minded personality for optimal interaction with customers at all levels.
  • Creativity to develop customized solutions together with customers.
  • Willingness to travel (50% of working time) within Europe and North America.

Language skills

Very good English is essential. Other language skills are an advantage.

Professional experience

Experience selling products requiring detailed explanation is a decisive advantage.
